The goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Lunin spoke after the defeat from Romania in the opening match of Euro-2024.

"I just want to apologize to all of you. The first goal was my mistake - it all started with it. It was just a technical error.

The second goal - i didn't see neither the shot, nor the movement of the ball. To concede such goals - its incomprehensible.

I want to apologize once again. I hope we can change the situation.

We have no choice. We need to recover quickly, switch to the next game and do everything possible to go further.

We will prepare for the second game, we need points," said Lunin.

The next Ukraine game at Euro-2024 will be played on June 21 against Slovakia.
