The head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov commented on the defeat from Romania (0:3) in the opening match for the team at Euro 2024.

"Clearly, there were different components of the game. We had possession, but didn't create any chances. Nobody expected this result. We have a very serious game in front of us [against Slovakia]. We have to talk among ourselves and we have to get ready for the next game.

Romania are a good team. I said it before in yesterday's pre-match press conference, this is a football nation. They can play football and they showed that today. We now have to focus on our next game against Slovakia", said Rebrov to UEFA.com.

The next Ukraine game at Euro-2024 will be played on June 21 against Slovakia.
