FC Shakhtar and defender Vinicius Tobias signed a new contract, which is valid until June 30, 2029.

Vinicius Tobias moved to the Shakhtar in February 2022, however due to the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine never made his debut for the club at the official level. From the spring of 2022 to June 2024, the Brazilian played on loan in Real Madrid, where he took part in 61 matches for Real Castilla, 5 matches for Real (U19) in the UEFA Youth League, and 1 match for the main team of Real Madrid.

In the summer of 2024 Vinicius Tobias returned to Shakhtar and joined the team at a training camp in Slovenia.
