Atletico Madrid have announced the arrival of Julian Alvarez

Atletico Madrid have announced the arrival of Julian Alvarez from Manchester City. The 24-year-old has signed a six-year deal with Los Colchoneros.

Football España has confirmed that the deal will cost Atletico Madrid €70m plus €25m in variables.

Alvarez become the sixth Argentine player to join the Atletico squad this summer.

At Manchester City the player scored 36 goals and gave 18 assists in 103 appearances, and collected five trophies, including a Champions League title.
