Lamin Yamal received an award

Barcelona and the Spanish national team player Lamine Yamal received the Golden Boy-2024 award. This prize is awarded by Tuttosport to the best young player of the year.

In 2024, Yamal together with the Spanish national team won Euro 2024 and was recognised as the best young player of the tournament. Lamin set two records of European Championships, becoming the youngest author of an assisst and a goal.

17-year-old Spaniard became the third Barcelona player in the last 4 years, winning the Golden Boy award - in 2021 and 2022 this title went to Pedri and Gavi respectively.

At all 25 players were nominated for the Golden Boy-2024 award, including Cobbie Mainu and Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United, the duo of Kenan Yildiz and Samuel Mbangula from Juventus, as well as Endrik and Arda Guler from Real Madrid.
