Tottenham Will Not Activate Buyout Option for Timo Werner
Timo Werner, the German forward currently on loan at Tottenham, is set to return to RB Leipzig at the end of the season. According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham has decided not to trigger the buyout clause for the 28-year-old striker.
Werner remains under contract with RB Leipzig until the summer of 2026. His market value is currently estimated at €17 million, as per Transfermarkt.
During his stint with Tottenham this season, Werner has featured in 19 matches across all competitions, contributing one goal and three assists. Despite his efforts, the club appears focused on exploring other attacking options.
