Ivan Juric started his work in the Premier League with a defeat. His Southampton lost to West Ham in the debut match of the new coach.

The outcome of the game was decided in the 59th minute. After a cross from the wing, Niklas Füllkrug headed the ball towards the goal, where Jarrod Bowen outpaced the home side's defenders and sent it into the net - 1-0 in West Ham's favour.
