Amorim: Even with 10 men, we are near their goal during the second half

Ruben Amorim admitted his frustrations after Manchester United’s 2-0 Boxing Day defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

“It was two different parts. We play 45 minutes without one man. It was tough for us, [but] we didn’t suffer a lot of chances. Even with 10 men, we are near their goal during the second half but, again, one set-piece changes the game, [and makes it] even harder. We controlled the first half. Sometimes we lose the ball, Wolves make some transitions, but we are in control of the game. We had a little bit of a lack of aggression in the last third but we were in control in the game. Then we have the second half to do something more, but then the player is sent off, it’s really hard for us.”
