West Ham United has reportedly offered Graham Potter the position of head coach until the end of the season. However, the club has yet to officially confirm the dismissal of current manager Julen Lopetegui.

According to The Times, it remains unclear who will lead the team for Friday’s FA Cup third-round match against Aston Villa. However, it is certain that Lopetegui will not be on the touchline for the Premier League clash with Fulham next Tuesday.

West Ham’s offer to Potter includes a short-term contract through the remainder of the season, with assurances of some transfer budget for reinforcements. The club is reportedly keen to strengthen their squad with an energetic midfielder and a forward, though these signings will likely be limited to loan deals.

Potter, who is considering the offer, has requested 24 hours to evaluate his potential return to management.
