Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragušin will miss the remainder of the 2024/25 season

Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragušin will miss the remainder of the 2024/25 season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee. The 23-year-old sustained the injury during last week’s Europa League match against Elfsborg and is expected to be sidelined for at least six months.

This is a significant blow for Tottenham, who are already dealing with a lengthy injury list. Key players such as Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert, Cristian Romero, and Dominic Solanke are currently unavailable, while defenders Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies have only recently returned to action.

Dragušin, who joined Tottenham from Genoa in January 2024 for £25 million, had become a key figure in the squad, starting 21 of the last 23 matches.
