Mohamed Salah continues his phenomenal season for Liverpool and has his sights firmly set on the Ballon d’Or, breaking record after record. His latest achievement came during the dramatic 2-2 draw with Everton in the Merseyside Derby.

Salah put his team ahead by calmly converting a penalty and earlier provided a crucial assist for Alexis Mac Allister, who leveled the score. But it wasn’t just any assist. According to Opta, Salah has now been directly involved in 22 goals across 13 away matches for Liverpool in the Premier League this season (13 goals, 9 assists), setting the record for the most goal contributions in away matches in a single season in the competition’s history.

At this point, Salah is the league’s top scorer. After 24 matches, he has netted 22 goals, three more than his closest rival, Erling Haaland.
