Brentford - Chelsea 0:0

One of the main contenders for a Champions League spot next season, Chelsea faced Brentford away in the 31st round of the Premier League. Yegor Yarmolyuk started for the hosts in what proved to be a challenging game for the Ukrainian and his team.

The Ukrainian midfielder played until the 66th minute before being replaced by Yangel Herrera.

Brentford had to dig deep in this encounter, with Chelsea firing 21 shots towards their goal. However, the home side had a couple of chances of their own. Despite the action at both ends, neither team was able to break the deadlock, and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

Chelsea remain in 4th place in the Premier League standings but could lose that spot to Manchester City, who play Manchester United in today’s derby.
