Arsenal Slip Again — Liverpool One Step Away From Premier League Glory

Arsenal - Crystal Palace 2:2

It seems Arsenal are doing more to help Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy than themselves. In yet another dramatic twist to the title race, the Gunners dropped crucial points after a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace — and in doing so, edged Jürgen Klopp's side closer to the crown.

Despite holding a 2-1 lead, Mikel Arteta's men allowed the Eagles back into the game late on, leaving their own title hopes hanging by a thread. With only one point now separating Liverpool from guaranteed glory, the red half of Merseyside could be celebrating sooner than expected.

Arsenal’s inconsistency at the business end of the season has once again proven costly. The result not only hands momentum to Liverpool, but raises questions over whether the North London side have the mental steel to go the distance in a title race.

Meanwhile, for Crystal Palace, the result is another solid showing under pressure, and a sign they’re capable of spoiling any party. But make no mistake — all eyes now turn to Anfield, where the title is Liverpool’s to lose.
