Vinícius Júnior

Vinícius Júnior has responded with humility and reflection to the release of his Netflix documentary, “Dance, Vini!”, admitting in an emotional Instagram post that it feels “strange” to have a film about his life at just 24 years old.

The Real Madrid star, who is in the midst of a remarkable season both on and off the pitch, acknowledged the unusual timing of the release, but also embraced the opportunity to share his journey so far.

"I Already Have Something to Say"

“A documentary at 24 years old sounds strange, doesn’t it?” Vinícius wrote. “My career is far from over, so it doesn’t really make sense to have a biography right now. But then I thought — I already have something to say. Something to share. May it inspire others.”

“A smile — that’s my identity. Today, I joke about childhood struggles. But it wasn’t easy. I tear up just thinking about what my life could’ve been without football. Thank you to everyone who helped me live this. Are you getting this, Netflix?”

More Than Football

The documentary provides an intimate look into Vinícius’s life behind the scenes at Real Madrid, his personal growth, and the challenges he’s faced — most notably the racism he has encountered in La Liga stadiums, an issue he has bravely confronted in public and in the media.
