Nottingham Forest have kept their hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League alive after a hard-fought 2-1 victory away to West Ham United in the penultimate round of the Premier League season.

Forest showed intent from the start and got the breakthrough when Morgan Gibbs-White found the net with a precise finish. The visitors doubled their lead through Strahinja Milenković, who powered home a crucial second goal to put Forest in control at the London Stadium.

Jarrod Bowen pulled one back for the Hammers, injecting late drama into the match, but it wasn’t enough to deny Forest a vital three points.

The result means Nottingham Forest are now just one point behind the top five, with everything to play for heading into the final day of the season.
