The first ticket to the 2025 NBA Finals has been punched — and it belongs to the red-hot Oklahoma City Thunder. In a dominant Game 5 performance at the Paycom Center, the Thunder crushed the Minnesota Timberwolves with a resounding 124-94 victory, sealing the Western Conference Finals with a commanding 4-1 series win.

Leading the charge once again was MVP frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who delivered an all-around performance: 34 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists. The Thunder raced to a 26-9 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

With this win, the Thunder advance to their first NBA Finals since 2012. They will now face either the Indiana Pacers or the New York Knicks, who are still battling it out in the Eastern Conference Finals.
