The second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League delivered a night packed with drama, upsets, and outright demolitions — even beyond the disappointment for the two Ukrainian sides.

One of the evening’s biggest shocks came from Finland, where Ilves — recently seen battling Shakhtar Donetsk in European competition — pulled off a sensational 4-3 win over Dutch side AZ Alkmaar. The Eredivisie club twice came back to level the score, but the Finns had the final say in an end-to-end thriller that could go down as one of the ties of the round.

Elsewhere, Norway’s Viking FK produced the most dominant display of the night, obliterating Slovenian side Koper with a staggering 7-0 scoreline. It was a statement win and a clear message that the Norwegians are aiming for a deep run in this year’s competition.
