Barcelona Beat Vissel Kobe in Entertaining Friendly in Japan
Barcelona continued their Far East pre-season tour with a solid 3–1 victory over Japanese side Vissel Kobe in a friendly match that delighted fans at a packed stadium in Japan.
The first half ended in a 1–1 draw, much to the delight of the home supporters. Pau García opened the scoring for the Catalans in the 33rd minute, but Miyashiro struck back for Vissel Kobe just ten minutes later with a well-taken equaliser.
In the second half, Barcelona stepped up the intensity. On 77 minutes, Marc Guiu Barjuán latched onto a clever assist from Robert Lewandowski to restore the lead. Ten minutes later, Unai Hernández added a third, sealing a confident win for the reigning La Liga champions.
