Each team facing a pivotal test in their quest for European group stage football

Thursday brings another packed evening of action across the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League, with 12 ties scheduled in the Europa League and an incredible 24 in the Conference League.

Among them are all remaining Ukrainian sides — each facing a pivotal test in their quest for European group stage football.

Dynamo Kyiv travel to Israel for a high-stakes clash against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Europa League play-off round. It's never easy for visitors in Tel Aviv, and for Dynamo, the stakes couldn't be higher — a loss over two legs will see them drop into the Europa Conference League group stage instead.

Shakhtar Donetsk, meanwhile, host Swiss outfit Servette in Kraków — their temporary home — and have a chance to secure European football after missing out on the Champions League group stage. A win tonight would be a significant step forward in their European campaign.

But the biggest challenge of the night belongs to Polissya Zhytomyr, who face Italian giants Fiorentina.
