The American outfit will become the 11th team on the F1 grid

Cadillac has officially unveiled its driver lineup for the 2026 Formula 1 season. The American outfit, backed by automotive giant General Motors, will become the 11th team on the F1 grid — and they’re not holding back when it comes to star power.

Sergio Perez, the former Red Bull Racing ace, and Valtteri Bottas, once a key figure at Mercedes-AMG Petronas, have signed multi-year contracts with the team. Together, they bring a combined total of 527 Grand Prix starts and 16 career victories — a statement of intent from Cadillac Racing as they prepare for their F1 debut.

Hollywood Meets Formula 1

In true American style, the team made the announcement with the help of none other than Keanu Reeves. Dressed as Neo from The Matrix, Reeves personally introduced Perez and Bottas in a cinematic teaser that has already gone viral.
