The Andrii Matiukha Foundation runs a wide range of social projects. Its key areas of work include supporting veterans and military personnel, providing hospitals with essential equipment, developing prosthetics, and assisting people affected by Russian shelling. International cooperation has also become an important part of its mission, strengthening Ukraine’s ties with the world.

Andrii Matiukha Foundation Supported the “Ye-Protez” Project: A Convenient Service for People After Amputations

“Ye-Protez” has become one of the main projects supported by the Andrii Matiukha Foundation. The online platform makes it significantly easier to obtain a prosthesis by combining consultations, model selection, financing, and rehabilitation. Users can find clinics, consult with doctors, and join support programs.

The service development started in 2024 with a pilot version that included a knowledge base, a website, and a Telegram bot. The next step will be a full-fledged application integrated with state services and partner foundations.

The project is based on inclusivity and modern technology. The chatbot incorporates artificial intelligence that responds in a user-friendly format. The knowledge base is constantly expanding, with the team considering feedback and adding new materials. The Andrii Matiukha Foundation emphasizes that the system will remain relevant even after the war.

The “Ye-Protez” team plans to engage at least 5,000 users, with no less than half of them receiving full support from the first consultation to prosthesis installation.

Andrii Matiukha Foundation Supported the “Protection of Ukrenergo Repair Workers” Program

The “Protection of Ukrenergo Repair Workers” program was created to ensure that technical staff and emergency teams gain vital first aid skills. The initiative includes 75 intensive one-day training sessions with 1,500 energy workers expected to participate.

Participants will learn how to stop bleeding, apply tourniquets correctly, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and quickly assess the condition of injured individuals. The Andrii Matiukha Foundation supports this initiative, recognizing that such knowledge saves lives in high-risk environments.

Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine’s energy system has faced constant threats: over 63,000 facilities have been damaged, at least 160 workers have been killed, and more than 300 injured. As repair crews continue to work daily on high-voltage lines and substations under the risk of shelling, first aid training is essential for their safety.

Modern Medical Instruments Provided to a Children’s Hospital with the Support of the Andrii Matiukha Foundation

One of the Andrii Matiukha Foundation’s key areas of activity is supporting medical institutions. In 2025, the urgent surgery department of Okhmatdyt received Ligasure Mariland and Ligasure Exact instruments, whose nanocoating allows surgeons to perform both laparoscopic and open surgeries more efficiently.

Each year, the children’s hospital performs about 800 surgeries requiring advanced equipment. Thanks to charitable support, over 60 successful operations were conducted in just a few months.

Earlier, with the Andrii Matiukha Foundation’s assistance, Okhmatdyt doctors also received the latest Thompson system for open surgeries. Since then, surgeons have carried out more than a hundred operations, noting that this system has become indispensable in daily practice.

“Buy a Lot” Initiative: Sports and Charity United for Children

The Andrii Matiukha Foundation joined the charity auction “Buy a Lot”, organized jointly by Dynamo Football Club, the Ukrainian Journalists’ National Team, and the News Center agency. The initiative aims to build an inclusive sports playground in Zhytomyr at the rehabilitation and palliative care center for children.

Organizers emphasize that the new playground will create opportunities for children who require special support. The Andrii Matiukha Foundation, in turn, highlights the importance of such projects, stressing that sports combined with charity bring real benefits to those for whom they are organized.

Art in Action: “Origami for Ukraine” Helps Ukrainian Soldiers

The Andrii Matiukha Foundation has joined the humanitarian initiative “Origami for Ukraine,” which since spring 2025 has decorated the facade of the Kyiv Museum with 5,000 metallic birds. The installation was created by Belgian designer Charles Kaisin with active participation from Ukrainian schoolchildren.

The project’s goal is to raise funds to support wounded soldiers. Anyone can contribute through donations or by purchasing a symbolic bird for 10 euros. The initiative has already raised over 50,000 euros, which will go to Kyiv’s military rehabilitation center.

The artistic event has become a powerful tool of charity, connecting Kyiv and Brussels, drawing attention from both residents and tourists, and delivering tangible support.

How the Foundation Builds Systematic Work with a Vision for the Future

The Andrii Matiukha Foundation implements initiatives across different areas, all united by a common goal — driving long-term change.

“Assistance should be the foundation for the future. The Foundation has all the resources to build a long-term strategy and act systematically,” says Andrii Matiukha.

Since its inception, the organization has focused on key areas: supporting, rehabilitating, and reintegrating veterans; backing initiatives to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities; launching humanitarian projects in medicine, education, science, and culture; and fostering Ukraine’s international cooperation. Andrii Matiukha emphasizes that the team will continue to improve its work and move forward with inspiration.
