Four games lit up the NHL slate last night

Four games lit up the NHL slate last night, with the New York Rangers dominating on the road and Macklin Celebrini stealing the spotlight out West.

At Little Caesars Arena, the Rangers dismantled the Detroit Red Wings 4–1, preventing Detroit from climbing to the top of the League standings. The Blueshirts controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing the depth and balance that have made them early-season contenders in the East.

Out West, the San Jose Sharks edged the Winnipeg Jets 2–1 in a tightly contested matchup. Rookie sensation Macklin Celebrini was directly involved in both of San Jose’s goals, taking over the NHL scoring race in the process. With 23 points on the season, the young center now sits one point ahead of Connor Bedard, continuing his breakout campaign in impressive fashion.
