Lionel Messi was once again the hero for Inter Miami, scoring twice and providing an assist in a commanding 4–0 victory over Nashville SC, sending his team into the MLS Eastern Conference semifinals.

Messi's creative flair didn’t stop there — Messi set up Tadeo Allende, who also netted a brace, while former Barcelona teammate Jordi Alba added a fine assist of his own to complete the rout.

The night was particularly special for Messi, as his assist marked the 400th of his professional career — an astonishing milestone. Of those, he delivered 269 assists for Barcelona, 60 with the Argentina national team, 34 during his spell at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and now 37 for Inter Miami.
