Norway - Estonia 4:1

The Norway national team produced a dominant performance on home soil, defeating Estonia in convincing fashion to stay firmly on track for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The match turned into a showcase of attacking power, led by the prolific duo of Erling Haaland and Alexander Sørloth.

It was Sørloth who opened the scoring in the 50th minute, calmly slotting the ball past the goalkeeper after a slick team move. Just two minutes later, the Villarreal striker doubled Norway’s lead, effectively ending any hopes of an Estonian comeback. Not to be outdone, Haaland soon took center stage. The Manchester City superstar netted twice in quick succession — in the 56th and 62nd minutes — showcasing his trademark precision and power in front of goal.

Estonia managed a late response through Saarma, but the strike barely dented the scoreline, serving only as a consolation in an otherwise one-sided encounter.

With this result, Norway move closer to securing a place in the World Cup finals, while Estonia conclude their qualification campaign with just one win and one draw from eight matches, sitting fourth in the group standings.
