Germany Crush Slovakia to Secure Qualification for the 2026 World Cup

Germany produced a big performance in the sixth round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers, demolishing Slovakia 6–0 on home soil to clinch top spot in Group A and book their ticket to the final tournament.
It took the hosts just 18 minutes to open the scoring, with young talent Nick Woltemade striking first. Soon after, Serge Gnabry doubled the advantage, setting the tone for a dominant evening. Shortly before halftime, Leroy Sané delivered a devastating double blow, netting in the 36th and 41st minutes to send Germany into the break with a commanding 4–0 lead.
The momentum continued after the restart: Ridle Baku added a fifth, and substitute Assan Ouédraogo capped off the rout with a late sixth goal, sealing one of Germany’s most emphatic wins of the campaign.
