FIFA has released its latest update of the Men’s World Ranking, with Ukraine slipping one position to 28th place. The national team now hold 1557.47 points, placing them 14th among all UEFA nations.

Since the publication of the provisional ranking, Ukraine played two crucial matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers — a heavy 0–4 defeat to France followed by a vital 2–0 victory over Iceland. That win secured Ukraine’s spot in the qualification play-offs for the 2026 tournament.
