NHL: A blockbuster night with 15 games across the league

The NHL delivered a jam-packed slate as 30 of the league’s 32 teams hit the ice in an action-filled night of regular-season hockey. Fans were treated to goals, shutouts, shootouts, and standout individual performances across the board.
The Eastern Conference leaders, the New Jersey Devils, produced a dominant 5–0 road victory against the Buffalo Sabres. Young forward Artem Grushnikov struck twice, while Nico Hischier, Brenden Dillon and Paul Cotter each added a goal to complete the shutout win.
Out West, the conference-leading Colorado Avalanche slipped in a dramatic shootout loss, falling 2–3 to the Minnesota Wild. Kirill Kaprizov shined for the hosts with a brace, while the Avalanche found the net through Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog, but ultimately couldn’t finish the job in the shootout.
