The draw for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 has been completed

The draw for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 has been completed in Sion, Switzerland, with all 36 participating clubs discovering their opponents for the opening stage of the competition.

The 36 teams were divided into four pots of nine clubs based on their UEFA club coefficient. Each side was drawn against two opponents from each pot, with one fixture at home and one away. As in previous editions, clubs from the same country could not be drawn against each other during the league phase.

The first pot featured some of the biggest names in European football: Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Arsenal, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Here is a closer look at their league-phase opponents.

European champions Paris Saint-Germain face a formidable challenge from the outset, with both Barcelona and Manchester City among the headline fixtures of their league-phase campaign. The French side will also meet Roma, Aston Villa, Galatasaray, Villarreal, Slovan Bratislava and Como.
