Chelsea Held to Draw by Hull

Chelsea once again showed their defensive frailties but avoided a home defeat as they were held to a 2-2 draw by newly promoted Hull City in the fourth round of the Premier League on September 12.
The hosts made the perfect start when Rodgers put Chelsea ahead early on. But the lead quickly disappeared as Belloumi struck twice before half-time, turning the game on its head and leaving the Blues with plenty to ponder at the break.
The defensive problems are becoming a worrying trend for Chelsea. According to Opta, the London club have now conceded in 20 consecutive Premier League matches. Their last clean sheet in the competition came against Brentford on January 17.
Despite another shaky defensive display, Chelsea refused to collapse. The hosts eventually found their response in the 66th minute when their star forward João Pedro fired home to restore parity.
