Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by Fulham on September 12 as the two sides failed to find a breakthrough in a surprisingly tense fourth-round clash in the Premier League.

The result extended Liverpool's unbeaten start to the season, but it was another frustrating afternoon for the champions, who have now drawn three of their opening four league matches. Fulham, meanwhile, finally got off the mark after losing their first three games.

The visitors showed plenty of ambition going forward and arguably looked the more threatening side for long periods. Former Shakhtar Donetsk forward Kevin came close to breaking the deadlock in the 79th minute, unleashing a powerful strike that flew narrowly past the far post.

Liverpool turned up the pressure late on and appeared to summon their trademark late-match magic in stoppage time. Alexander Isak and Rio Ngumoha were both presented with golden opportunities to snatch all three points, but neither could find the target.
