Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice is one of five players to withdraw from the England squad due to injury ahead of the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. Rice has already returned to his club for further recovery.

The England national team confirmed that five players initially selected by manager Thomas Tuchel for the upcoming matches have subsequently been ruled out.

Rice has been joined on the sidelines by Tino Livramento of Newcastle United, Cole Palmer of Chelsea, and Manchester United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford. All five players are set to miss England's Nations League matches over the next two weeks.

England confirmed that all five withdrawals are injury-related. In response, James Garner and Morgan Gibbs-White have been called up to bolster Thomas Tuchel's squad.
