England bounced back from their defeat to Spain with a confident 2-0 victory away to Czech Republic in the third round of the Nations League. The result saw Thomas Tuchel's side return to winning ways and move up to second place in their group.

The hosts made life considerably harder for themselves before half-time. In the 26th minute, Pavel Sulc was shown a straight red card following a reckless challenge on Anderson, leaving Czech Republic to play the remainder of the match with 10 men.

England wasted little time making their numerical advantage count after the break. Anthony Gordon opened the scoring by converting a pinpoint cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold, putting the visitors firmly in control.

The Three Lions then doubled their advantage through captain Harry Kane. The striker produced a composed diagonal finish to send the ball into the corner and effectively settle the contest.
