Germany Held to Goalless Draw by Greece

Germany were held to a frustrating goalless draw away to Greece, extending a difficult start to the Nations League under new head coach Jurgen Klopp. The Bundesliga stars have managed just one victory in their opening four matches, leaving the team facing an early battle to regain momentum.
Greece started brightly and came close to taking the lead in the opening minutes, forcing Oliver Baumann into action following a dangerous effort from Georgios Masouras. Germany gradually settled into the contest, took control of possession and thought they had broken the deadlock when Jonathan Burkardt found the net. However, the goal was ruled out for handball.
After the interval, Greece successfully disrupted Germany's rhythm and turned the match into a fiercely physical battle. The visitors struggled to create clear-cut opportunities as the hosts defended resolutely and refused to give Klopp's Germany the space needed to unlock their defence.
Late introductions, including Nick Woltemade and Eliesse Ben Seghir, failed to change the outcome. Germany pushed for a winner in the closing stages, but Greece held firm to secure a valuable point.
