Bayer Leverkusen continued their unbeaten run in the UEFA Europa League with a commanding 4-0 victory over Polish side Lech Poznań away from home. The standout performer was Czech striker Patrik Schick, who came off the bench in the 18th minute after Terrier was forced off through injury and went on to score twice before half-time.

Schick opened the scoring from the penalty spot after a VAR review resulted in a handball decision. Just minutes later, Malik Tillman doubled Leverkusen’s advantage, putting the visitors firmly in control. Schick then converted a second penalty shortly before the interval, awarded following another foul, to complete his brace and leave the hosts facing an uphill battle.

Leverkusen added further gloss to the scoreline late in the game when Maza found the net from a Moreira assist, sealing an emphatic 4-0 win.
