Manchester United missed the chance to end their winless run after being held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United in the seventh round of the English Premier League. Travelling to Elland Road in search of a much-needed victory, Michael Carrick's side once again struggled to turn a promising position into three points.

Bryan Mbeumo put the visitors ahead in the 35th minute, moving Manchester United closer to their first win in five matches. However, their advantage proved short-lived after the interval, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin finding the equaliser early in the second half to bring Leeds back on level terms at 1-1.

Neither side managed to find a decisive breakthrough in the remaining minutes, forcing Manchester United to settle for another frustrating draw. Despite taking the lead, the visitors were unable to hold on to their advantage, extending their disappointing run without a victory.
