Galatasaray urge UEFA to bolster security ahead of Champions League trip to Lille

Galatasaray have formally approached UEFA requesting heightened security measures ahead of their trip to France to face Lille in the Champions League, according to reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik.
With widespread protests taking place across France, officials from the Istanbul outfit have expressed serious concerns regarding team safety, particularly as relocating the fixture to a neutral venue is not being considered by the governing body.
The Champions League matchday-three tie between Lille and Galatasaray is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 21.
