Napoli and Roma served up a spectacular six-goal thriller in Naples, producing a dramatic 3-3 draw in the Serie A clash. Both sides looked to have done enough to claim all three points at different stages, but late drama ensured the spoils were shared in an unforgettable encounter.

The hosts made a flying start, taking the lead through a sensational acrobatic finish from André-Frank Zambo Anguissa. The Napoli faithful had barely caught their breath when Scott McTominay doubled the advantage shortly after half-time, putting the home side in a commanding position.

However, Roma refused to surrender. Matías Soulé brought the visitors back into the contest by reducing the deficit before Leonardo Balerdi struck to restore parity. The comeback set the stage for a breathless finale as both teams pushed for a decisive goal.

McTominay appeared to have settled the contest when he completed his brace, sending Napoli back in front and sparking celebrations among the home supporters. But Balerdi had the final say, scoring his second goal with a close-range header to make it 3-3.
