Everton Claim Vital Away Win

Everton secured a narrow but important 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at St James’ Park, earning their first away win of the current Premier League season. A decisive early goal from Thierno Barry proved enough to secure all three points for David Moyes’ side.
The breakthrough came in the opening stages, when Newcastle’s defence failed to deal with the situation and Barry pounced from close range to put the visitors ahead.
Jordan Pickford also played a crucial role, producing an important save to deny Yoane Wissa and preserve Everton’s lead. Newcastle’s hopes of rescuing a result suffered another blow late on when Jacob Ramsey was sent off, leaving the hosts with little time and fewer options to mount a comeback.
