Real Madrid Thrash Valencia to Extend La Liga Winning Run

Real Madrid produced a commanding performance away from home, sweeping aside Valencia 3-0 to record their eighth consecutive victory across all competitions.
Despite being without Vinicius Junior, Carlo Ancelotti's side settled the contest before half-time. Federico Valverde opened the scoring with a well-taken rebound, before Arda Guler doubled the visitors' advantage with a precise finish from the centre of the penalty area following a driving run from Jude Bellingham.
Valencia offered little threat in front of the returning Thibaut Courtois, who had a relatively quiet evening. After the break, Kylian Mbappe added a third, scoring his 13th league goal of the campaign. The French forward also helped force the dismissal of Jose Gaya, putting the finishing touch on a dominant night for Real Madrid at Mestalla.
