Chelsea Cruise Past Legia Warsaw in UEFA Conference League Quarter-Final First Leg
Chelsea FC took a major step toward the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League with a dominant 3–0 away victory over Legia Warsaw in the first leg of their quarter-final clash.
England international Noni Madueke was the standout performer, scoring twice to put the Blues in full control. Youngster Tyrick George added a third, showcasing Chelsea’s attacking depth and future promise.
It could’ve been an even bigger scoreline for the visitors, but midfielder Christopher Nkunku missed a penalty in the 73rd minute — a rare blemish in an otherwise polished performance by the Premier League side.
The return leg will take place at Stamford Bridge on April 17, where Chelsea will look to finish the job and book their place in the final four.
