Ukranian journalist Viktor Vatsko claims that Shakhtar has decided not to sell midfielder Mykhaylo Mudryk to Bayer Leverkusen.

"As far as I understand, the situation is as follows: Bayer are very actively looking for Moussa Diaby's replacement, because Newcastle is interested in buying him. The price of this transfer is set at 70 million euros. At the same time, Bayer offered Shakhtar only 21 million euros for Mudryk.

I think that this is a very worthy sum of money for a UPL player with a Ukrainian passport, however i have information that Shakhtar will not sell Mudryk during this transfer window. The probability of transfer not happening is 99 percent - this is a personal decision of Shaktar's president Rinat Akhmetov," Vatsko said.
