Manchester City have moved “one step closer” to completing a deal for Brighton defender Marc Cucurella, reports El Desmarque.

The Premier League champions want the Spanish full-back to add further depth and competition to their squad, with a transfer worth between £25 million ($31m) and £30 million ($37m) now in the pipeline.
