Oliver Kahn: Ronaldo transfer doesn't fit in with the ideas we have at Bayern

Added at:

Oliver Kahn has reacted to reports linking Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo with Bayern.

"I love Cristiano Ronaldo and everyone knows what a fantastic player he is. But every club has a certain philosophy, after all, and I'm not sure it would be the right signal for FC Bayern and the Bundesliga if we went and got him now.

Such a move doesn't necessarily fit in with the ideas we have here at FC Bayern", - Kahn told Bild am Sonntag.

Previously it was reported that Ronaldo had asked to leave Manchester United. He is dismayed by United’s decline and convinced he must move to ensure he can continue to challenge for the biggest honours.
