Shakhtar and Fiorentina have reached an agreement on the transfer of the defender Dodo to the Italian club.

Dodo has played for Shakhtar since December 2017 (including a one-year loan spell at Vitoria Guimaraes). The Brazilian made 97 appearances with the Miners in all competitions and scored five goals. Together with the Orange-and-Blacks, he twice became the Champion of Ukraine (2018, 2020) and raised the Ukrainian Cup (2018) as well as the Ukrainian Super Cup (2021).
