Girona newcomer Artem Dovbyk commented on his transfer to the La Liga club from Dnipro-1.

"I believed that this transfer would take place. There was an agreement with the club that I would extend the contract and then Dnipro-1 would sell me. Therefore, I took that risk. Everyone thought that I would be in Dnipro-1 for a few more years , but the club did not interfere in my transfer. Everyone is happy, everyone fulfilled their obligations.

My debut against Lazio? It was a little unexpected - I trained in the morning, and in the evening played my first game. Emotions were positive, because so many people came to the friendly match. The coach gave me some advise before the match - I went on the pitch without worries, I understood what was needed from me. I was also impressed with Girona and their style of play.

Of course if feel the responsibility - Girona paid record money for me. That's why I want to make the most of this opportunity. I believe that I will turn my work in training into goals in La Liga.

Tsygankov? The presence of Victor in the team gives me more freedom. I have great chemistry with him.

I'm not worried, I'm confident in myself. The main thing for me is to train - then everything will be. If you give yourself completely to football, it will reward you," - said Dovbyk in an interview with Football TIME.
