Official: Xavi will leave Barcelona after the end of the season

Xavi will be coaching the team for the last time in Sunday's game away to Sevilla

In a meeting at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, president Joan Laporta has informed Xavi Hernández that he will not be continuing as FC Barcelona coach in the 2024-25 season.

Following the announcement, Xavi publicly thanked everyone on social media for the support he has received over the last two and a half seasons as coach. Furthermore, he added: "Above being coach, I am a Barça fan and I always want the best for my club. From Sunday, I will be just another culer in the stands".
