Nazariy Rusyn leaves Zorya for Sunderland

Sunderland AFC has announced that an agreement has been reached with Zorya Luhansk for the transfer of Nazariy Rusyn for an undisclosed fee.

The striker has completed a medical in Paris and agreed a four-year contract at the Stadium of Light, with a Club option of a further year, and the move will be finalised subject to international clearance.

The 24-year-old scored 21 goals and registered 10 assists in 49 appearances for Luhansk, whilst contributing nine goals and three assists in 41 senior appearances for former Club Dynamo Kyiv.

A Ukraine Under-21 international, Rusyn scored six times in 10 appearances for the nation's youth side and he also received a senior call-up in May 2023.
