Former Metalist player, who recently left Sevilla and joined Monza, Argentine midfielder Alejandro Papu Gomez has been suspended from football for two years after a doping scandal, reports Relevo.

Gomez tested positive for a doping test in November 2022, while still at Sevilla. According to the football player, he took the syrup of one of his children without prior consultation with doctors. Gomez has a right for an appeal.
