Myron Markevich: Karpaty still have a lot to work on
Karpaty Lviv coach Myron Markevich spoke about the victory over Niva in the match of the First League.
“Today we played reliably in defense, that's why we won. Vladyslav Baboglo returned and it became calmer in defense.
The first half was difficult, but in the second we had the advantage and had several opportunities to score. We carefully studied Niva and followed their game, especially since they are our competitor in the fight for promotion. I am glad that the boys took a responsible approach to the game and did not allow the opponent to create anything.
Ihor Neves played well today, we still had two or three moments that we had to turn into goals and close the game. We still have a lot to work on. We showed character, and I thanked the players in the locker room for that."
