Brazilian was injured in the match against Colombia

Following tests carried out today on Vinicius Jr. by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a tear in his left femoral bicep which is affecting the tendon in his hamstring.

The Brazilian was injured in the match against Colombia (1:2) on Thursday.

Ahead of the crucial game against Argentina on Tuesday, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed that Vinicius has left the squad. The Real Madrid star has already returned to the Madrid club.
